Common questions.

Can Art-Net and internet use the same Ethernet cable?

Yes. One LAN can carry both. You can also separate Art-Net and internet.

How does autoplay help with beam fixtures?

The first show sends lamp-on or reset commands. When it ends, the main show starts and loops.

Does the scheduler need internet?

No. A DS3231 RTC keeps correct time after a power loss without internet.

How many universes can it run?

Run the built-in benchmark. It tests the current Raspberry Pi and shows a safe count.

Can I move the license to a new Pi?

Yes. Deactivate the old device, activate the replacement and restore the backup.

Is a lighting console needed for playback?

No. The console is only needed to program and record the show.
